Excellent!

Read the info and watch the videos! This sling is the perfect blend of function and simplicity without gimmicks made by someone who gets it. The storage mode is an added bonus. Operation is straightforward and the sling is comfortable for extended wear. I've purchased two and am going to purchase more to ensure consistency across all platforms.

Proctor Sling

I have 2, I will buy more. The crazy things is the rifles that I have them on. I’m not an AR guy but I love the way the AR/m4 are slung to carry in the front. So, I got some M16a2 stock adapters (remember them), and got the proctor sling. They can literally be attached to anything. I currently have my marlin 1894 and my Ruger Scout rocking the proctor sling. Field carry, jumping game, climbing into a stand, general field work, all made a thousand times better by using this sling. By the way, I just prusik knot the front cord around the barrel/ barrel and loading tube. The barrel has been pretty hot and didn’t damage the cord. Probably wouldn’t do that on a semi auto rifle. So yep, love it.

Sling

I'm diggin'' it. Lightweight, quiet, quick adjustment, no bulk, easy to stow....just what I was looking for. Bought two and have no regrets.

Proctor Sling

Great sling. I wanted a simple efficient sling and that’s just what we get with this sling. I’ll be buying more.

Own 3 love them

Own 3 love them. Only sling I use on ARs...

Proctor sling

This sling is the best sling out of 3 or 4 others I’ve tried. The adjuster slides down to lengthen which makes more sense when you go from storage mode to work mode because you’re pushing down and grabbing the rifle at the same time. I’ve had my troubles and uncertainties of QD mounts as well, also the QD weight can add up, with the loop through system there is not coming unattached by accident which could be critical in certain situations, I have one complaint as this is a honest review. I wish there was a small loop stitched on to the adjuster to make it slightly easier when loosening and tightening but there could be good reasoning for not having that, I still fell in love with this sling and the minimalist approach and will continue to buy these over other manufacturers.

Good sling!

I got it for my AR, and it was very easy to install and seems to be good and quick to lengthen and tighten up again. I haven't used it in training or shooting environments yet, but just playing with it so far it seems like it will work well. Take that for what it's worth! I got what I thought I was getting as far as operation and functionality, so I'm happy with it so far.
