FP Koozie

There is actually a funny story behind these.  A few years ago I was leaving my hotel to go teach a 2 day pistol class in Washington and was feeling really good about how the class was going to go.  I looked at my pelican case with all me gear in it and realized that I had left my holster back home in Alabama.  No worries, I thought, I'll just buy a holster from the range I'll be trading at.  When I got the the range they had plenty of gear but the pistol I was shooting was a custom pistol with a 5" slide.  The closest thing they had to fit was for an IWB for a 4.7" slide.  I went with that option and I was able to teach the course just Fien and do demos etc.  The problem though is that when we shoot the guns...they get hot and that last little bit of slide that protruded past the bottom of the AIWB holster made things little uncomfortable.  At lunch I went tot he closest Target thinking I could find some crafting foam or something to tape onto the holster.  I didn't find crafting foam sheets but I did find a drink kookie.  It was a perfect solution and made things super comfortable for the rest of the class.  I have found that the thin foam drink koozie also makes a properly fit holster very comfortable when carrying IWB or AIWB.  So know you know the rest of the story!  The FP  branded holster koozies have the FP logo on one side and the US Flag on the other.  They also work great at keeping your beverages cool...when you're not on the range.
